While she was studying psychology, Barbara Ulman worked with various non-profit organizations and was able to gain valuable experience in consultancy. During a study trip to Palo Alto and Berkeley, Barbara Ulman first came into contact with the origins of systemic consultancy. Back in Austria, she then successfully completed courses as a systemic coach.

After graduating, Barbara Ulman joined a Viennese consulting firm specializing in HR consulting, executive search and potential analysis. A successful two years later, she founded her own consulting firm and now advised financial and industrial companies as well as non-profit organizations. Her work has always been defined by a systemic and customer-oriented approach and still determines her work style at ISG which she joined in early 2007.
