Biography

Angel is an experienced executive recruiter and talent strategist with a proven track record of matching top professionals with premier organizations. With over two decades of experience in recruiting, diversity recruiting, leadership development, and executive search, she has built a reputation for recognizing exceptional talent and cultivating high-impact careers.

Starting her journey at UCLA where she mentored elite student-athletes as a Resident Advisor, Angel quickly translated her passion for coaching into a thriving career. From leading talent acquisition initiatives at The Robert Toigo Foundation to senior recruiting roles at Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and the international division of New York Life, she has played a pivotal role in shaping careers on Wall Street and beyond. Additionally, she was an Adjunct Advisor at the MBA Haas School of Business where she became known as the ‘secret weapon’ for young professionals launching a career on Wall Street.

Angel has served as a Recruiter and as a Diversity (specific) Recruiter and of this says, for her, “It’s the same role”.

In 2022, she launched into executive search full time, continuing her mission of strategic matchmaking. Whether advising companies on recruitment strategy or guiding professionals toward their ideal roles, Angel is known for her insight, expertise, and expansive network.

Deeply committed to mentorship, Angel serves as the Director of Mentoring Black Sisters/The Miss Black Sacramento Scholarship Pageant, a nonprofit organization founded by her grandmother in 1970. With roots in both Sacramento and New York City, she remains dedicated to connecting opportunity with excellence.
