Biography

Sophie Zhou leads executive search initiatives across the state, specializing in building cross-border leadership teams for clients expanding between Asia and North America. With over 15 years of experience spanning corporate account management and executive recruitment, Sophie brings deep industry insight and a cross-cultural approach to every engagement.

Sophie began her career at A.P. Moller Maersk, where she spent seven years managing global key accounts across complex supply chain environments. She later transitioned into executive search with Robert Walters and Manpower Experis, leading mid- to C-level searches throughout the APAC region. In 2017, she launched her own HR consulting and executive search practices, partnering with Asian companies entering the U.S. and European markets, as well as U.S.-based firms seeking leadership talent in Asia.

Sophie Zhou’s industry expertise spans manufacturing (automotive, consumer electronics, home appliances, IoT and smart devices), healthcare and high-tech sectors. Functionally, she focuses on leadership roles across corporate functions (HR, finance, legal), commercial leadership (sales and marketing), and operations & supply chain. Sophie serves clients ranging from Fortune 500 enterprises to high-growth startups, always striving to create long-term impact by aligning business goals with leadership potential.
