About the Role

We are hiring a Strategic Account Executive on behalf of a confidential, globally recognized leader in the software domain. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing sales team focused on expanding the adoption and value of cutting-edge software solutions among multinational enterprise clients in Germany.

In this role, you will take charge of upselling and cross-selling a well-established product portfolio to existing strategic accounts. Your focus will be on building trusted executive relationships, identifying expansion opportunities, and executing complex sales cycles across large organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value, multinational accounts within the German market.
  • Develop strategic account plans to identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Work closely with customer success, solution engineering, and marketing teams to drive product adoption.
  • Build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Consistently meet or exceed expansion revenue targets and KPIs.
  • Report on pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and account progress using CRM tools.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in enterprise software sales or account management.
  • Strong track record of upselling, cross-selling, and expanding revenue within large global organizations.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise buying processes and ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Native-level German and professional English proficiency.
  • Experience working with DevOps, cloud-native, or infrastructure software is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with high emotional intelligence and a solutions-driven mindset.
