Our client has been working together with local agents for the last 13 years in Germany and now wish to expand the business through own sales representatives starting with three employees to share Germany – North – West and South. Furthermore, our client is a supplier through wholesale societies like ANWR, GMS, SABU and offers seasonal and NOOS collections (Never Out Of Stock).

As an Area Sales Manager in South-Germany you will be responsible for the sales in Bayern and Baden-Württemberg and will be a member of a dynamic organization with very high-quality products, focusing on customer satisfaction, sustainability and quality in fit and materials. Together with two other colleagues in the North and West of Germany you will be a part of the German organization to build up and expand the business.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Acquisition and visiting new retailers and follow up
  • Taking care of existing retailers
  • Participating in trade fairs in Germany
  • Sale through Show-rooms
  • Cooperation with the team of German colleagues
  • Communication with the international Headquarter
  • Monthly report to Headquarter
  • Seasonally budget processing
  • Travelling days – approximate 80-90 days per year


Skills and experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with B2B on the German market
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with handling retailers – existing and canvassing new ones
  • Preferred knowledge of the German shoe market – especially shoes for children
  • Preferred communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Systems
  • Mercantile education
  • Business oriented
  • Experienced user of CRM systems
