Our client, a leading multinational in the chemical industry, is currently looking for a Business Consultant expert in Planning to join their digital offices in Madrid. This position plays a key role in shaping and optimizing supply chain planning through the development and implementation of innovative digital solutions. You will be part of a global, cross-functional team, contributing to impactful projects that enhance operational excellence across the company’s international network.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable and efficient digital planning processes.
- Bridge the gap between standardized systems and the specific needs of supply chain and operational units.
- Continuously improve both SAP and non-SAP planning processes through simplification and automation.
- Support day-to-day business operations, manage change requests, and contribute to strategic planning initiatives.
- Lead international projects, promoting alignment and knowledge sharing across global teams.
- Implement effective change management strategies and coordinate testing processes with specialist communities.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' professional experience in supply chain or project management.
- Expertise in planning software, especially OMP and SAP; proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI.
- Solid knowledge of agile methodologies and experience in fostering a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear and accessible manner.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
