For an internationally oriented retail company with a long-standing and successful presence in Türkiye and a high three‑digit million revenue in the non‑food sector, I am currently searching, within an exclusive executive search mandate, for an experienced CFO.
Our client operates several large‑format stores, is part of a European group and is characterized by stable growth, strong employee retention and a distinctly harmonious team culture.
Collaboration is designed for the long term, with flat hierarchies, open communication and a respectful, family‑like working atmosphere.
You will hold full responsibility for finance, accounting, controlling, tax as well as cash and treasury management of the local entity and act as a sparring partner to the CEO and international stakeholders.
You will lead an experienced finance team, ensure accurate financial statements and reports (local/IFRS), manage budget, forecasts and cash flow, and actively support growth and transformation projects.
Your profile
- At least around 10 years of experience in a comparable leadership role (CFO/Finance Director) in an international company, ideally with a trading or retail structure.
- In‑depth expertise in accounting, IFRS, controlling, tax, treasury, cash‑flow management and ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
- Proven leadership experience with established teams, down‑to‑earth, team‑oriented leadership style at eye level, hands‑on attitude and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Very good German or English skills; high willingness and able to travel within Europe.
- On a personal level, you fit an open, internationally minded CEO, international stakeholders and a long‑standing, appreciative Turkish team.
