Our Client creates innovative specialty label and packaging solutions with its four subdivisions as one of the global market leaders for its clients in home & personal care, premium food & beverage , healthcare and specialty, automotive & durables, and consumer markets worldwide.

The Group is undertaking a green field campus investment with a considerably big footprint in one of the industrial zones in Trakya Region. After completion, the Group’s production facilities and operations in Türkiye are planned to be consolidated under one big campus.

Now we offer an exciting opportunity to join a high caliber team. We are looking for a ‘Chemical Compliance and Quality Engineer’. The Position will be located in Türkiye; however, The Chemical Compliance and Quality Engineer will be a member of the Global Quality & Chemical Compliance Team and will take part in global projects as well. The Chemical Compliance and Quality Engineer will have a matrix reporting to the General Manager, Türkiye and the Head of Global Quality System.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out the necessary work for efficient and successful Chemical Management in all locations within the Group, together with Quality Managers,
  • Documenting Chemical Management Programs, Policies and Processes according to the Global Quality System,
  • Participating in Global Quality System studies,
  • Holding remote and face-to-face meetings when necessary at all locations within the Group,
  • Conducting on-site observations and field inspections at different locations / countries within the Group,
  • Ensuring the successful completion of assigned projects,

Requirements

  • Graduated from the Chemical Engineering Department of reputable universities, master’s degree is a plus,
  • 5+ years of past experience in chemical compliance and quality engineering areas, with at least 2 years of past experience in the clothing, label, or printing industry,
  • Preferably worked on Quality Management, Restricted Substance List- RSL, Manufacturing Restricted Substance List -MRSL, Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals- ZDHC, HIGG areas,
  • Fluent in English (Speaking, understanding, writing),
  • High communication skills, prone to teamwork,
  • Skilled in problem solving and crisis management,
  • Curious, able to constantly improve himself/herself and transform what he/she learns into creative and new ideas,
  • No domestic or international travel restrictions,
  • Able to drive actively,
  • Have good knowledge of MS Office,
  • For male candidates, preferably completed military service,
  • Preferably reside in and / or ready to locate to Tekirdağ/Kırklareli after completion of the new campus,
