As a
Cloud Officer, you will align cloud solutions with business objectives while overseeing operations from a strategic standpoint. You'll coordinate with diverse stakeholders to maximize the value of cloud platforms without compromising performance or compliance. This role provides an opportunity to lead critical decisions in a global cloud ecosystem, influence technology strategy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a modern agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the strategic alignment of cloud solutions with global business goals
- Oversee cloud operations and ensure compliance with internal KPIs
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, and Portfolio Directors to guide execution
- Lead interactions with cloud vendors for contract governance and performance optimization
- Contribute to the development of the IT disaster recovery and business continuity plan
Required Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure (ideal), AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or IBM Cloud
- Proven experience in software engineering and application architecture, with a track record of shaping Cloud strategy
- Familiarity with FINOPS practices and the Tech Business Management (TBM) framework
- Excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration
