DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

Our client is a leading global provider of end-to-end communication solutions for mission-critical networks in the transportation sector. They employ over 550 people across multiple office locations in Europe, with their headquarters located in Vienna.

Your Tasks:

  • Responsible for the implementation of automated build and deployment processes.
  • Develop and maintain a CI/CD pipeline and take care of configuration management and versioning.
  • Work on continuous optimization of the automated processes and support the development team in DevOps activities.
  • Carry out regular deployments of the product and ensure an efficient system architecture that is aligned with DevOps requirements.
  • Maintain the product and ensure the creation of technical documentation (UML).

Your Qualifications:

  • Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
  • Very good Linux knowledge as a system administrator.
  • Experience with containers and container orchestration (K8S, K3S, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Experience with GitLab Runner and CI/CD as well as with Helm Charts.
  • Familiar with agile working methods.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Fluency in English
