Job Description
Run regular or ad-hoc tenders for logistics services
Conduct or participate in contract negotiations
Lead and attend regular meetings with service providers
Continuously research the market for alternative logistics solutions
Finalize contracts by completing clerical and system-related tasks
Support projects by collecting and reporting logistics-related data
Regularly report budget forecasts versus actuals
Track contract end dates for long-term contracts and initiate renewals when required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, International Trade, or a related field
7-10 years of experience in logistics or shipping companies, preferably in procurement or trading environments
Excellent command of English (both written and spoken)
Proficiency in SAP, TMS, and Microsoft Office (strong Excel skills required)
Strong communication and negotiation skills with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
