We are looking for a
Financial Crime Data Strategy Lead to define and drive the end-to-end data strategy across Financial Crime domains.
This is a high-impact, strategic role where you will play a key part in ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, and control effectiveness throughout a large-scale banking migration.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the Financial Crime data strategy across areas such as Transaction Monitoring, Screening and KYC.
- Lead the end-to-end data migration approach, including mapping, transformation, validation and reconciliation.
- Ensure continuity and effectiveness of Financial Crime controls throughout migration and post-migration phases.
- Collaborate with business, architecture and engineering teams, translating regulatory requirements into data solutions.
- Establish data governance frameworks and manage data-related risks, audit requirements and control testing.
Requirements
- Experience as a Data Strategy Lead, Data Migration Lead, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Financial Crime / AML domains.
- Experience delivering large-scale data migration programmes in regulated financial services.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and regulatory expectations.
- Good level of English.
Nice to Have
- Experience in bank migrations, separations, or transformation programmes.
- Familiarity with Financial Crime platforms (Actimize, NetReveal, Appian, ThetaRay).
- Experience in payments or large-scale customer data migrations.
