HSE Team Leader (Vojvodina/Subotica)

Job description:
  • Implements regulations and acts in the field of HSE
  • Prepares reports on the state of HSE and suggests improvement measures
  • Coordinates the activities of organizing and implementing training for employees and contractors in the field of HSE
  • Operationally and organizationally manages the local HSE sector
  • Coordinates and unifies the preparation of periodic, regular and extraordinary reports in the field of HSE
  • Organizes activities and attends inspections in the role of responsible person
  • Coordinates activities and participates in the work of the Commission for investigating the causes of HSE events
  • Coordinates and participates in resolving received suggestions, reports, non-compliance, measures and implementation status of activities related to HSE processes
  • Performs the duties of a Fire Protection Officer, in accordance with legal obligations, at the corporate level
  • Coordinates and participates in waste management and biodiversity protection processes
  • Organizes activities related to assessments of risks/aspects in the workplace and the working environment of employees
  • Organizes activities, identifies needs, proposals for procurement and Budget of the HSE sector
  • Organizes daily monitoring and control of the application of fire protection measures at operational locations
  • The ideal candidate must have the following background:
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Health, Safety and Environmental role in a manufacturing environment
    • Technical education background
    • Experience in multinational company
    • Professional exam for safety and health at work
    • Professional exam for fire protection
    • Knowledge of the requirements and direct experience of applying the 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001 Management System standards
    • Knowledge of the requirements of legal regulations in the field of H&S, Fire protection and Environment
    • Computer literacy (MS Office)
    • Experience in electronic document management
    • Knowledge of contracting mechanisms, experience in management, team management and transversal management
    • Ability to create a work environment that promotes high levels of performance and enthusiasm
    • Good command of English language
    • Driver’s license
    • It is an advantage if you have:

      Proven record of writing and implementing policies and procedures Good knowledge of plant/machinery and relevant processes Good command of Hungarian language
