We are currently seeking a motivated Sales Manager to join our esteemed client's team based in Istanbul. Our client is a leading company in the petrochemical industry, offering a project-based position with a supportive work environment and exciting growth prospects. While the office is situated in Istanbul, this position requires regular travel (30%) to China, the Middle East, and South America.
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Understanding customer needs and recommending suitable plastic products and services
  • Tracking and managing sales activities, updating account information in the company's CRM system
  • Collecting and disseminating valuable market information
  • Conducting contracting and price negotiations with customers in the assigned regions
  • Identifying market trends, developments, and new prospects
  • Developing and implementing short-, mid-, and long-term strategies to expand our customer base
  • Overseeing operational areas such as contracting, logistics, production planning, customer service, and credit
  • Regular travel (30%) between China, the Middle East, and South America
Required Experience and Skills:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management in the petrochemical industry
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems
  • Comfortable working with numbers and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated capability in building customer relationships and exploring new markets
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team efforts
  • Fluency in Turkish, Arabic and English
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, or a relevant field
