For one of our international clients, a petrochemical trading company, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior Trader (Sales Support Specialist) to join their new operations located in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting petrochemical product sales and ensuring the smooth running of the sales process. Responsibilities:
  • Assist with Sales Process: Support the quoting and contracting process, including contract creation, risk analysis, and close collaboration with legal and financial advisors.
  • Timely Product Delivery: Ensure the timely delivery of products within fast-changing price quotation periods to meet customer expectations.
  • Customer Negotiations: Act as the primary point of contact for customer negotiations and support, representing the company's products in a technical and commercial capacity.
  • Customer Feedback Analysis: Analyze customer feedback and satisfaction levels to improve customer relations and product offerings.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct bid/netback/data/trends analysis and estimate competitiveness in the local market.
  • Sales Reporting: Verify and analyze sales reports and financial data, reporting to the headquarters to ensure transparency and compliance.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize SAP, Excel, and Incoterms to ensure the efficient operation of the sales process.
  • Reporting: Prepare daily and monthly sales/shipment reports to track sales performance.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in sales support or trading, preferably in trading, petrochemical, chemical, oil, and gas industries.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with customers effectively.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Incoterms to manage sales operations.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Russian (C1 level) is a must-have, as it will be essential for effective communication with clients and partners in the region.
