Our client is a chemical industry service company that provides chemical services to international partners in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key responsibilities
- Preparation of the annual sales plan and active participation in the implementation of the sales plan
- Build strong relationship with clients to understand business requirements
- Ensure timely receipt of purchase orders and liaise with production and supply chain to confirm delivery dates to customer
- Support preparation of offers in response to client RFP’s
- Ensuring timely invoicing of clients
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation of sales processes in CRM system
- Organizing meetings with customers, participating in customers meetings & visits and business conferences
- Actively participating in the innovation of the company processes (e.g. CRM system, digitalization) and contributing with own ideas
Required qualities and skills
- Relevant degree in commerce or business management
- Degree in chemistry advantageous
- Commercial mindset and ability to negotiate
- CRO and CDMO experience is a plus
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales in chemical/pharmaceutical industry
- Good command of English is a must
- Experience in purchasing chemicals welcome
- Proactive, positive, motivated, result-oriented personality and attitude
