Our client is a leading international company operating in the petrochemical industry, supplying high-quality polymer solutions to a broad customer portfolio across global markets. As part of its continued growth strategy in Turkiye, the company is seeking a commercially driven Key Account Manager to strengthen customer relationships and support business expansion within the polymer segment.
Job Description
  • Manage and develop strategic customer accounts across the Turkish market
  • Drive business growth within PP and PE product portfolios, particularly in packaging and construction applications
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the expansion of the customer base
  • Monitor market developments, pricing trends, customer demands, and competitive activities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with converters, distributors, and industrial customers.
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver effective commercial solutions and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Conduct regular customer visits and represent the company at industry events and exhibitions
  • Prepare commercial reports, market insights, and business updates to support decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or key account management within the polymer, plastics, or petrochemical industry
  • Strong knowledge of Polypropylene (PP), PP Copolymers, and Polyethylene (PE) products
  • Good understanding of packaging and construction market applications
  • Experience working with converters, distributors, compounders, or petrochemical manufacturers
  • Strong network within the Turkish polymer market is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Commercially minded with a proactive and results-oriented approach
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Fluent in both Turkish and English
  • Based in Istanbul or willing to relocate
  • Open to travelling within Türkiye and the surrounding region when required.
