We are looking for a
hands-on Lab Technician to join a highly technical R&D laboratory environment. This role is strongly focused on hardware testing, validation, and qualification activities, with the opportunity to grow over time into data analysis and test automation.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the lab, understands electronics at PCB level, and is curious to go beyond execution to understand what is being measured, why, and how results compare over time.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain long-duration qualification and stress tests running in the laboratory.
- Execute electrical and functional measurements on electronic devices and related test boards.
- Assemble, adapt, and troubleshoot test and stress setups.
- Identify issues in ongoing tests, investigate root causes, and proactively propose solutions.
- Perform hands-on laboratory tasks such as soldering, basic repairs, and hardware debugging.
- Ensure proper operation of laboratory equipment such as ovens, thermal chambers, freezers, and measurement instruments.
- Ensure proper organization and maintenance of the laboratory area, tools, and supplies.
Requirements
- Background in electronics, electrical systems, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience in laboratory or hardware testing environments.
- General understanding of electronic hardware and test setups.
- Comfortable performing practical lab tasks (assembly, soldering, troubleshooting).
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Python.
- Familiarity with Linux environments.
- Exposure to embedded systems or hardware validation processes.
