Job Description
- Support of trading activities under Turkish, English and other applicable law including: drafting and commenting on various commercial (trading) and related contracts (sales, storage, transportation, trade financing etc), negotiations with customers and other counterparties; drafting of legal opinions for commercial division on various matters;
- Corporate law: drafting and commenting on internal by-laws of Istanbul office and other;
- Legal support on employment matters: drafting and commenting on employment contracts, advising on various employment matters, participation
- Monitoring Turkish legal services market, development of networking with Turkish law firms;
- Litigation activities, upon business need.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Turkish law; knowledge of English contract law is an advantage;
- Relevant experience in a trading company or international law firm – at least 5 years;
- Analytical thinking; balanced and stress-resistant personality;
- Languages: English, Turkish - advanced; Russian as an advantage.
