Our client is a leading manufacturer in the automotive aluminum die casting, operating in the automotive manufacturing industry.
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team and take an active role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of the production systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage maintenance and repair activities of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, with a strong focus on electrical infrastructure
- Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Lead troubleshooting and fault diagnosis processes to minimize downtime
- Monitor and maintain automation systems (PLC, SCADA, etc.)
- Ensure efficient operation of power systems (LV/MV, transformers, UPS, generators, weak current systems)
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and efficiency
- Work closely with maintenance technicians and production teams
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (strongly preferred), Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems; mechanical knowledge is an asset
- Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance within a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with automation systems (PLC, SCADA)
- Knowledge of power distribution systems (LV/MV), transformers, UPS, generators
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good planning, organization, and reporting capabilities
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
