Managing Director

We are looking for a Managing Director to lead the Romanian operations of a leading multinational company specializing in material handling, warehouse automation and supply chain solutions.

This is not a traditional Managing Director role.

It is a unique opportunity to build and grow a business from the ground up, combining the entrepreneurial spirit of a start-up with the support, stability and resources of an international market leader.
As the first Managing Director of the Romanian branch, you will have full ownership of the business—from establishing the local organization and building the team to driving commercial growth and ensuring long-term profitability.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Has at least 10 years of leadership experience in Sales, Service or General Management.
  • Has successfully led organizations of 40+ employees.
  • Has experience in industrial, OEM, material handling or related B2B environments.
  • Has an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoys building businesses rather than simply managing them.
  • Is customer-oriented, commercially driven and comfortable being close to the market.
  • Is a hands-on leader who inspires people and delivers results.
  • Speaks fluent English (German or Hungarian is a plus).
