Role Objective:
We are looking for a Marketing Manager for the Istanbul entity of a leading international petrochemical company.
The role will focus on identifying and developing new market opportunities, applications, and commercial growth initiatives for the company's Styrene & Polystyrene portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, sales teams, technical experts, and senior management to drive market expansion and portfolio optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new applications and growth opportunities for Styrene & Polystyrene products.
- Monitor demand, market trends, pricing, and competitive dynamics.
- Analyze trade flows, customs statistics, and industry data.
- Support customer development, application development, and new market opportunity projects.
- Assess customer needs and support new product development initiatives.
- Evaluate business opportunities and project economics.
- Prepare market reports, business cases, and management presentations.
- Work closely with Sales, Technical, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product teams.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience in petrochemicals, polymers, plastics, chemicals, or related B2B industrial markets.
- Knowledge of Styrene, Polystyrene, GPPS, HIPS, EPS, or related styrenics products.
- Experience in market intelligence, market development, demand forecasting, pricing analysis, and strategic planning.
- Understanding of B2B marketing, industrial sales, and value proposition development.
- Ability to evaluate project economics, profitability, market share potential, and business opportunities.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- English B2+.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
