Our client is an
international company in the space sector, pioneering next-generation telecommunications through Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellations.
They are currently looking for a
Payload Operations Engineer to join their Satellite Operations Center. You will be part of the team responsible for operating and monitoring satellite payload systems, ensuring service reliability and supporting in-orbit testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate payload systems and associated tools for in-orbit configuration and testing.
- Monitor automated processes and analyze telemetry data and system logs.
- Coordinate configuration updates to optimize service performance.
- Track key parameters such as power, thermal, and RF performance.
- Collaborate with SOC, NOC, and engineering teams to troubleshoot operational issues.
- Support procedure validation, simulations, and mission readiness activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM field.
- 0–2 years of experience (internships or academic projects are also valued).
- Basic understanding of satellite systems or telecommunications.
- Programming knowledge (e.g., Python, Java, Matlab, C#).
- Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jira, or Confluence is a plus.
- Good level of English communication skills.
- Availability to work shifts, including occasional on-call duties.
Nice to Have
- Experience with satellite payloads or LEO constellations.
- Exposure to monitoring systems, data analysis, or SOC/NOC environments.
- Involvement in operational processes or technical procedures.
