Our client is a globally recognized leader in the
food manufacturing industry, supplying high-quality products to some of the world's most well-known food service and retail brands.
As part of its ongoing Supply Chain transformation journey, the company is looking for a Project Management Specialist to drive planning excellence, digitalization initiatives, and continuous improvement projects across its European operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives within the Capacity Planning function.
- Drive the development and optimization of S&OP processes, inventory management strategies, and performance KPIs.
- Support and lead the implementation of SAP IBP, including forecast models, planning processes, and master data structures.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects focused on efficiency improvements, cost optimization, supply performance, and business resilience.
- Manage product transfer and new product planning activities across manufacturing sites, commercial teams, R&D, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to improve service levels, demand visibility, and operational performance.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
- Act as a key support and backup for the Planning Manager.
Your Profile
- University degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain Excellence.
- Strong understanding of S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Capacity Planning, and Inventory Management processes.
- Experience working with ERP systems and advanced analytical tools.
- Exposure to SAP IBP, SAP APO, or Supply Chain transformation projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent English is required; additional European languages are considered an advantage.
Nice to Have
- APICS CPIM certification.
- Lean, Six Sigma, Green Belt, WCM, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in international and matrix organizations.
