Job Description
We are currently seeking a Functional SAP Consultant with a background in Indirect Procurement to join a dynamic digital transformation team. As a consultant, you will be responsible for supporting business requirements, providing strategic advice, and optimizing procurement processes within SAP systems. This role requires a deep understanding of procurement processes and the ability to translate business needs into effective SAP solutions.
What You Can Expect
- Solution Design: Work closely with business stakeholders to design technical solutions that meet procurement-related business requirements.
- System Customization: Customize and configure SAP systems (primarily in SAP Material Management and Procurement) to meet business needs.
- Support & Optimization: Provide operational support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth running of SAP applications. Manage incidents, problem management, change requests, and continuous service improvement.
- Project Collaboration: Cooperate with internal teams and external providers on digital projects, including S4/HANA, Fiori, and mobile/cloud applications.
- Consulting & Transformation: Act as a key advisor during project planning and change requests, ensuring that solutions align with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Agile Methodologies: Apply Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) in daily work to support continuous improvement and successful project execution.
What You Offer
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience as an SAP consultant with a strong focus on procurement and supply chain management (SAP MM/Procurement).
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of procurement processes such as purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, inbound deliveries, goods receipt, and service entry sheets.
- Skills: Experience with SAP interfaces (i.e., iDoc, RFC, API). Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work in an international team.
- Mindset: Proactive, self-driven, and solution-oriented with the ability to prioritize work based on business needs.
- Tools: Familiarity with SAP tools and interfaces, along with experience in agile methodologies, is a plus.
