Senior Application Architect - Data Platforms (m/f/x)

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to its European Data & Technology consulting team
  • Provide with technical expertise around Data and AI technologies
  • Outline and design modern data & AI architectures in hybrid- and multi-cloud scenarios
  • Understand both traditional legacy DWH systems and state of the art cloud architectures
  • Design end-to-end Data to AI Solutions across multiple platforms
  • Oversee the architecture for the data and AI components including unstructured data technologies, annotation and related data and analytics (Big Data, Data Warehouse, Data Integration, Master Data Management and/or Cloud Data transformation projects)

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience working with data platform architecture and data platform implementation
  • Familiar with design with programming on high-scale/BigData or distributed systems (Hadoop, Map Reduce, Spark, Python, SPSS/R or NoSql technologies)
  • Knowledge of programming languages (i.e. Java and Python)
  • Good knowledge in across systems integration, information management business analytics and architecture
  • Familiar with Cloud or Cloud native platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google
  • Practice with data warehouse environment and knowledge of existing and emerging data integration approaches
  • Native or bilingual in German: Speaking and writing
