Our client is looking for an experienced professional to join their team as a Senior DevOps Engineer within the insurance industry. This role involves managing and supporting essential infrastructure while focusing on platforms like Apigee, AWS, Linux, and Kubernetes. The position offers a hybrid work setting in the vibrant city of Barcelona, requiring two days on-site each week.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain Apigee OPDK, contributing to its evolution by migrating to Apigee X.
- Enhance platform processes through automation and optimization to ensure they are scalable and dependable.
- Design and implement infrastructure architecture, which encompasses:
- CI/CD pipelines
- Monitoring and alert systems
- Resilience mechanisms
- SLA monitoring
- System documentation management
- Safeguard platform security, managing strategies for incident prevention and response.
- Participate in a rotational 24/7 on-call support schedule as required.
Required Skills
- A minimum of 7–10 years of experience in DevOps or similar systems engineering positions.
- At least 4 years of expertise in:
- AWS management (EC2, Route53, CloudTrail, AWS WAF, CloudWatch, EKS, AWS Systems Manager)
- Red Hat Linux management
- Kubernetes administration
- Proficient in:
- Apigee OPDK platform and its troubleshooting
- Apigee X
- Shell scripting
- Cassandra management
- GitHub Actions
- GCloud
- Dynatrace
- Fluency in English at a B2 level or higher, as all meetings occur in English.
- Knowledge of Spanish is plus.
