We are currently seeking a Senior Functional SAP Consultant with a background in Indirect Procurement to join a dynamic digital transformation team. As a senior consultant, you will be responsible for leading the design of technical solutions, providing strategic advice, and optimizing procurement processes within SAP systems. This role requires a deep understanding of procurement processes, SAP customization, and the ability to translate business needs into effective SAP solutions.
What You Can Expect
- Solution Design: Lead the design of technical solutions in collaboration with business stakeholders, ensuring that procurement requirements are met effectively.
- System Customization: Oversee the customization and configuration of SAP systems (mainly SAP Material Management and Procurement) to meet business needs.
- Support & Optimization: Provide advanced operational support, resolve complex issues, and ensure the smooth running of SAP applications, managing incidents, problem management, change requests, and continuous service improvement.
- Project Leadership: Lead projects in collaboration with internal teams and external providers, including new digital technologies such as S4/HANA, Fiori, and mobile/cloud applications.
- Consulting & Transformation: Act as a senior advisor during project planning and change requests, ensuring that solutions align with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Agile Methodologies: Guide teams in applying Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) to ensure the successful execution of projects.
What You Offer
- Experience: 6+ years of experience as an SAP consultant with a strong focus on procurement and supply chain management (SAP MM/Procurement).
- Knowledge: Advanced understanding of procurement processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, inbound deliveries, goods receipt, and service entry sheets.
- Skills: Expertise in SAP interfaces (i.e., iDoc, RFC, API). Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work in an international team.
- Mindset: Proactive, self-driven, and solution-oriented with the ability to prioritize work based on business needs and lead complex initiatives.
- Tools: Expertise in SAP tools and interfaces, with advanced experience in agile methodologies.
