Our client is a global leader in sports technology, looking for a Senior ServiceNow Application Engineer to join its international engineering team in Vienna. In this role, you will drive the development, optimization, and expansion of the company's ServiceNow platform while supporting automation, self-service initiatives, and enterprise-wide digital transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform and related applications.
- Act as the internal ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert and provide technical guidance across the organization.
- Design and implement workflows, integrations, and automation solutions using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and APIs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Support platform governance, documentation, and best practices across the ServiceNow environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and process optimization.
- Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and technical development within the team.
- Participate in operational support and ensure service availability according to established SLAs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, configuration, and core modules such as ITSM, ITOM, and CSM.
- Experience with JavaScript (Glide scripting), HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
- Solid understanding of REST and SOAP APIs as well as enterprise application integrations.
- Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and workflow automation.
- Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and ServiceNow development best practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English communication skills.
