Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Application (w/m/x)

Berlin - Hamburg - Köln - FFM - Stuttgart - München

Full Time

Main Responsibilities:

  • Site Reliability Engineering with focus on Applications running on modern hybrid-cloud-Platforms
  • Perform manual IT operations and system administration tasks and develop the code to automate tasks
  • Act as a bridge between development and operations teams, speeding up the production of new software and features
  • Oversee the IT operations performance and error risk, making sure it is compliant with service level agreements (SLAs) the company has agreed to with its clients
  • Work with DevOps teams to establish service level indicators (SLIs), service level objectives (SLOs) and error budgets

Ideal Profile:

  • At least 6 years of experience Cloud Transformation
  • Experitise regarding how to design, migrate and modernize cloud-based applications/platforms
  • Thorough knowledge of modern tools & concepts for Cloud Service, Management and Operation (Github, Gitlab, Bamboo, Jenkins, travis, JSON, YAML, Python, Java, C#)
  • Academic or technical background in Network Engineering, Security and Data storage
  • Excellent leadership & consulting skills
  • Possess a Cloud Solution Architect certification by AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Excellent written and verbal communication both in German and English
