Server Infrastructure Administrator

ISG is recruiting a Server Infrastructure Administrator for direct hire into a long-term international project within an enterprise environment.

This opportunity is ideal for a professional who enjoys keeping critical infrastructure stable, secure, and running efficiently. The environment is already beyond the design phase and is currently moving from advanced implementation into stabilization and controlled operations. This means the role is clearly operations-focused, with limited involvement in project or migration activities, rather than architecture or design.

If you have solid experience in enterprise infrastructure operations and hypervisor environments, but limited exposure to Azure Stack HCI / Azure Local, we would still be interested in hearing from you.

Your main responsibilities

• Operate and support Microsoft Azure Stack HCI / Azure Local infrastructure
• Manage and administer virtual Windows and Linux servers
• Handle deployment and full lifecycle management, including patching and upgrades
• Monitor systems and support configuration distribution
• Manage backups for servers and infrastructure
• Work with Active Directory and Entra ID
• Use PowerShell and other scripting tools to support automation and continuous improvement
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, server, performance, and stability issues
• Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure secure and reliable operations
• Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation for configurations, procedures, and changes

What we are looking for

• Solid experience in enterprise infrastructure operations
• Mandatory experience with hypervisor operations and virtualized environments
• Experience managing Windows and Linux servers
• Good knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell or another scripting language
• Experience with monitoring, backups, patching, and lifecycle management
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in server and infrastructure environments
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Fluent Portuguese and English

Nice to have

• Previous exposure to Azure Stack HCI / Azure Local
• Knowledge of Microsoft PKI
• Experience with Puppet
