Service Delivery Tech (Telecommunications)

We are seeking a Service Delivery Technician to support complex gateway deployment operations and ensure a seamless transition from construction to live network operations.

This role plays a critical part in delivering operational excellence across international telecommunications infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will combine technical understanding with strong coordination and documentation capabilities.

About the Role

You will manage deployment documentation, coordinate multidisciplinary technical activities, oversee schedules, and ensure full operational readiness prior to service activation.

Acting as a bridge between construction, RF engineering, network operations centers (NOC), and field services teams, you will ensure infrastructure is delivered on time, compliant, and ready for integration into live service environments.

Key Responsibilities

Documentation & Acceptance Readiness

• Prepare comprehensive acceptance packages including technical specifications, test results, and compliance documentation
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout the deployment lifecycle
• Coordinate configuration validation and acceptance testing activities
• Ensure regulatory, safety, and technical prerequisites are completed for timely activation

Technical Coordination & Deployment Tracking

• Track critical technical tasks and identify schedule risks or resource conflicts
• Coordinate across engineering, construction, NOC, and field services teams
• Provide milestone reporting and manage escalations
• Align technical execution with project timelines and delivery baselines

Operational Handover & Transition

• Validate completion of commissioning activities before operational handover
• Confirm readiness for service activation and monitoring integration
• Prepare operational procedures, maintenance schedules, and technical references
• Support structured knowledge transfer to operational support teams

Quality Assurance & Process Improvement

• Monitor compliance with deployment and change management procedures
• Identify documentation or process gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist in developing standardized templates and delivery frameworks
• Participate in post-deployment reviews and implement lessons learned

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, IT, or related technical field
• Associate degree with relevant experience considered

Experience

• Minimum 2+ years in service delivery, network deployment, or technical project coordination
• Experience within telecommunications or connectivity infrastructure environments
• Strong background in documentation control and cross-functional coordination

Technical Expertise

• Understanding of deployment processes and gateway infrastructure systems
• Experience with change management and acceptance testing workflows
• Familiarity with configuration management and documentation control systems
• Knowledge of service handover and operational transition processes

• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to coordinate across multiple technical disciplines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under schedule pressure while maintaining quality standards

Location & Flexibility

• Based in Spain or the UK
• Work authorization required
