Solution Architect (Europe / Africa / Asia)

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver robust, scalable satellite‑to‑ground connectivity solutions across Europe, Africa, and Asia. This role is pivotal in shaping gateway architectures, integration patterns, and technical workflows that meet high standards of performance, reliability, and operational readiness.

As part of our Service Delivery organization, the Solution Architect will collaborate closely with Gateway Project Managers, Delivery Teams, Service Activation, Engineering, and Field Support to ensure technically sound, efficiently deployable, and operationally sustainable gateway solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design end‑to‑end gateway architectures supporting satellite‑to‑mobile connectivity.
  • Define integration patterns across satellite payloads, gateways, transport networks, core networks, and OSS platforms.
  • Validate technical feasibility and ensure designs comply with performance KPIs, capacity targets, and regional requirements.
  • Guide integration activities, define configuration standards, and maintain design templates and reference architectures.
  • Ensure gateway solutions meet interoperability, throughput, latency, availability, and persistence requirements.
  • Support operational readiness with detailed documentation, monitoring, and maintenance planning.
  • Collaborate across regions to align technical solutions with global architectural strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced certifications are a plus.
  • 8–12 years of experience in telecom, satellite, or network architecture roles, including multi‑region deployments.
  • Strong expertise in gateway and network architecture, IP networking, transport, and telecom service delivery.
  • Experience with OSS/NMS integration, operational support, and satellite or hybrid telecom environments preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to support regional travel across Europe, Africa, and Asia.
  • The employee must hold a valid work permit in the country of employment
  • Comfortable working across multiple time zones in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.
