What You Can Expect

Within the team, the focus is on ensuring high-quality rollout of changes to the SAP core systems for internal stakeholders. Enabling internal business users at our client to update their SAP data in a "Hands Free IT" manner is achieved through self-developed and maintained forms provided via an automated global work request web portal.

Main Responsibilities

  • Strategic development of the test automation framework, considering state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Ensuring operational stability from end-to-end, focusing on tools, services, processes, licenses, and costs.
  • Analyzing, researching, identifying solutions for software issues, and collaborating with our client internally and with tool providers.
  • Incorporating ongoing requests into continuous improvement processes.
  • Planning and conducting lifecycle measures (software setup, updates, patching & maintenance, backups).
  • User administration, RBAC Access, and Active directory access management.
  • Improving the support concept, including emergency handling.
  • Ensuring security & authorization checks are conducted.
  • Documenting technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.

Main Requirements

  • Degree with a focus on business or information technology (IT) and several years of work experience.
  • Experience in Citrix VDI setup, pool/update/issue, and Microsoft SQL Server database management.
  • Operational knowledge in managing network and Microsoft Windows Server issues.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Natural helper mentality, enjoy assisting people with software issues and ability to explain technical details simply.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide step-by-step technical help.
  • Ability to think outside of the box, develop new concepts, and drive them forward.
  • Experience working in a global collaborative environment and promoting an agile teamwork mentality.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) in English are mandatory.
