Our client represents a prominent international petrochemical firm known for its indispensable range of products, driven by state-of-the-art technologies to pioneer new possibilities. Committed to enhancing the quality of life within communities, they are seeking a Technical Support Manager for their Turkish operations. This role will spearhead the introduction of petrochemical products—namely Basic Polymers (PP, PE), and plastics—to the Turkish and MEA markets.

This pivotal role requires candidates with Bachelor's or Master's degrees in Chemical Engineering and Technology, specializing in polymer materials. Reporting to a regional manager based in Europe, the ideal candidate will oversee the technical service function and play a crucial role in product introduction and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Addressing customer claims efficiently
  • Analyzing and resolving customer issues promptly
  • Assisting in the homologation process for both existing and new products among customers and end-users
  • Collaborating closely with Sales and Product Development teams to explore new opportunities and refine product specifications
  • Educating end-users and converters while promoting and selling products as relevant
Job Description:
  • Providing technical service and application support
  • Spearheading product positioning and contributing to new product development
  • Managing claims with a focus on continual improvement
  • Engaging in effective communication, cooperation, and coordination with colleagues
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Competencies:
  • Proficiency in polymer processing technology, particularly in polyolefins and various extrusion methods
  • Familiarity with the properties and brands of PP and PE grades specific to the regional market
  • Eagerness to explore and develop knowledge across all petrochemical product categories
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills (Upper-Intermediate level or higher)
  • Highly motivated, with exceptional communication abilities and adeptness in multitasking and prioritizing tasks
  • Strong analytical skills, resilience under pressure, and a willingness to learn
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook; familiarity with SAP and Minitab is advantageous.
