Our client is a leading global provider of end-to-end communication solutions for mission-critical networks in the transportation sector. They employ over 550 people across multiple office locations in Europe, with their headquarters located in Vienna.
Your Tasks:
- Responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation (mainly in English), such as software user manuals, troubleshooting guides, release notes, etc.
- In coordination with the team, you will introduce efficient processes for product documentation (e.g. documentation as a code, versioning of documents).
- Working closely with the development team, you collect product-specific information and compile it into comprehensible documents.
- Create additional images in UML.
- Responsible for versioning/historizing the documents.
Your Qualifications:
- Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
- Experience with technical documentation, especially in the software development area and with different documentation processes (documentation as a code, etc.) and tools.
- Very good UML knowledge.
- Familiar with agile working methods such as Scrum.
- Experience with Git or ticket management tools.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
