For our customer commodity trading company based in Istanbul, Turkey. We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Specialist to join dynamic as a vital member of their finance team, you will play a key role in executing and overseeing treasury operations to ensure the financial stability and efficiency of their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute treasury operations in collaboration with the accounting department.
- Assume responsibility for all financial operations, including bank instructions, daily transactions, cash flow management, collections, and company payments.
- Conduct daily operational transactions with banks, preparing both electronic and paper-based transfer instructions for approval.
- Monitor and report on all movements in bank accounts.
- Strategically plan foreign exchange transactions based on cash flow needs, negotiating exchange rates with banks.
- Prepare monthly financial presentations and generate daily reports for the Treasury function.
- Facilitate all company payments, including SGK and tax payments, salary disbursements, general payment lists, foreign currency transfers, and import/export payments.
- Submit necessary documentation to banks for both paid and received amounts.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in treasury or financial services.
- Bachelors or master's degree in business, finance, economics, or engineering.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Experience in a multicultural working environment is a definite plus.
- Strong communication skills with a proven record of accomplishment of interacting with banks, including experience with international online banking and managing international bank relationships.
- High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Collaborative team player with a friendly and open demeanour.
- Completion of military service for male candidates.
