Role Overview

As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our cross-functional teams through the Agile process, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and continuous improvement. You will act as a servant leader, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews to ensure effective team collaboration and alignment.
  • Coach and mentor teams in adopting and improving Agile practices, fostering self-organization, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Identify and address obstacles hindering team progress, collaborating with stakeholders to implement solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between the development team and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
  • Assist the Product Owner in maintaining a well-defined and prioritized product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Advocate for Agile principles and practices, driving their adoption across teams and the organization.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role, with a track record of successfully guiding teams through the Scrum process.
  • Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban, and experience with Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred.
