We are looking for Civil Chief Enginer to join our team for a luxury residence project carried out for our prominent steel producer clients in Egypt. This positions will report directly to the Construction Manager. This position require working abroad and necessitate a strong command of English, commitment to luxury standards, a minimum of 10 years of experience in luxury residences and luxury hotels, international experience, and extensive knowledge of high-standard construction methods, premium materials, and legal regulations.     Job Summary:
    The Civil chief Enginer is the client's on-site specialist for all civil and structuralactivities. You will be responsible for the daily inspection and quality assurance of the contractor's work, including earthworks, foundations, concrete structures, blockwork, underground utilities, and site-wide infrastructure, ensuring all work provides a solid foundation for luxury residences.
      DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
      • Thoroughly review all civil/structural drawings, specifications, and method statements.
      • Conduct daily inspections of all civil works, including rebar placement, formwork, concrete pouring, and waterproofing.
      • Witness and verify material testing (e.g., soil compaction tests, concrete slump tests, cube/cylinder testing).
      • Ensure the contractor is utilizing the correct materials and equipment as specified.
      • Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for any work that does not meet quality standards and track them to closure.
      • Monitor and enforce safety protocols specific to civil works, such as excavation safety and working at heights.
      • Maintain a daily log of the contractor's civil works progress, manpower, and equipment on site.
      • Report any issues, delays, or concerns immediately to the Construction Manager.
      Qualifications:
      • Degree in Civil Engineering.
      • Minimum 10+ years of experience as a engineer/chief /supervisor in large-scale residential or mixed-use projects.
      • Expert knowledge in concrete technology, excavation works, and residential building structures.
      • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
