We are looking for Electrical Chief Engineer to join our team for a luxury residence project carried out for our prominent steel producer clients in Egypt. This positions will report directly to the Construction Manager. This position require working abroad and necessitate a strong command of English, commitment to luxury standards, a minimum of 10 years of experience in luxury residences and luxury hotels, international experience, and extensive knowledge of high-standard construction methods, premium materials, and legal regulations.     Job Summary:
    The Electrical Chief Engineer is the client's on-site specialist for all electrical and low-current systems. You will be responsible for the daily inspection and quality assurance of electrical installations, including power distribution, lighting, smart home automation, security systems, and data infrastructure, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and seamlessly integrated into a luxury living experience.
      DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
      • Plan & Drawing Review: Thoroughly review all mechanical drawings, including plumbing layouts, riser diagrams, shop drawings, and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) for firefighting and pool systems.
      • Thoroughly review all electrical drawings, specifications, and integration plans for home automation.
      • Inspect the installation of conduits, cable trays, and electrical panels with a focus on neatness and long-term serviceability.
      • Verify correct cable pulling, glanding, and termination for all power and low-current systems.
      • Witness and verify key electrical testing, including for all smart home features and security systems.
      • Ensure all work complies with national and international electrical codes and safety standards.
      • Champion electrical safety on site, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.
      • Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for any non-compliant electrical or low-current work.
      • Report progress and technical issues to the Construction Manager
      Qualifications:
      • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
      • Minimum of 10+ years of experience as an electrical chief engineer on large-scale residential or luxury hotel projects.
      • Expert knowledge of LV systems, electrical codes, and safety practices.
      • Demonstrable experience with the installation and commissioning of smart home/building automation systems is essential.
