Accounting Team Lead (m/w/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
• Prepare and analyze balance sheets and profit & loss statements
• Handle general ledger accounting and drive process optimization
• Participate in finance and accounting-related projects
• Process and post incoming invoices and credit notes
• Reconcile bank accounts and manage payment runs
• Prepare weekly cash flow reports
• Manage travel expense reports and employee reimbursements
• Post monthly payroll entries
• Ensure VAT compliance and prepare VAT returns
• Execute IFRS postings (e.g. provisions, recurring entries, depreciation)
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize P2P workflows
• Resolve vendor inquiries and support supplier relationships

Your Profile

• Certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter or equivalent international certification)
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Controlling, or related field
• Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS standards
• Experience in operational accounting and financial reporting
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) is a plus
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
• Structured, hands-on, and proactive approach to work
• Team player with a mindset for continuous improvement
