We are looking for a Data Loss Prevention & Insider Risk Management Specialist to join a global cybersecurity team. The role focuses on safeguarding sensitive information, preventing data leakage, and mitigating insider threats in a complex multinational environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Insider Risk Management (IRM) solutions.
- Classify, label, and monitor sensitive data throughout its lifecycle across a global enterprise.
- Identify and track potential threats, both accidental and intentional, ensuring timely escalation and remediation.
- Automate security tasks using programming and scripting (Python, PowerShell) to optimize processes and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Cyber Security, Compliance, HR, Legal, and Business stakeholders) to align policies with business needs.
- Provide clear reporting to management, translating risk mitigation into measurable business metrics.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in DLP and Insider Risk Management roles.
- Proven expertise with Microsoft Purview or an equivalent enterprise DLP tool (e.g., Symantec, Forcepoint, Digital Guardian).
- Solid understanding of information protection principles, data governance, and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Programming/scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) to automate tasks and build integrations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in a global, cross-functional environment with direct interaction across departments.
- Professional fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
