A leading global consumer goods group is seeking an accomplished Product Owner, Collaboration to join its IT team based in Madrid. Operating in a fast-paced and innovative environment, this role is responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and delivery of collaboration platforms used by thousands of employees worldwide. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, communicate, and refine the strategy for collaboration tools, ensuring alignment with broader digital workplace objectives.
- Lead a cross-functional squad of Workplace Engineers in an agile setting, managing sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, users, and external technology partners, gathering requirements and facilitating solution delivery.
- Oversee platform adoption, user satisfaction, and performance metrics for tools including Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Adobe, Miro, and Notion.
- Manage the annual budget for collaboration initiatives, balancing financial efficiency with innovation.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation, user training, and effective onboarding to maximize tool utilization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, particularly in generative AI and cutting-edge collaboration technologies.
- Advocate for an intuitive, user-centric product experience that serves a diverse, global workforce.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s level a plus.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in IT, modern workplace environments, change management, and user adoption.
- Demonstrated record as a Product Owner, ideally focused on workplace collaboration platforms or Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Proven expertise in agile methodologies, including team leadership, backlog management, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
- Strong analytical abilities, communication skills, and a user-first mindset.
- Experience managing budgets in technology product development.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are an advantage.
