Product Owner - IoT - Madrid

Our client, a pioneering renewable energy company, is looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead their IoT product development. This role will be key to driving innovation and delivering connected energy solutions that support sustainability and smart energy management.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize the product roadmap for IoT solutions supporting renewable energy systems.
• Gather and analyze stakeholder requirements, translating them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, and operations to deliver high-quality products.
• Manage the product backlog and ensure timely delivery of features in Agile development cycles.
• Act as the product expert, facilitating communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Monitor product performance, user feedback, and market trends to iterate and improve IoT offerings.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and data security regulations related to IoT and energy sectors.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in IoT, energy, or technology sectors.
• Strong understanding of IoT architectures, connected devices, and data integration.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Technical background with the ability to understand complex systems and translate requirements effectively.
• Passion for renewable energy and sustainability initiatives.
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
