Our client is an international manufacturer of industrial products. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Maintenance Chief to lead the maintenance operations of their production facility in Çerkezköy.
The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all machinery, automation and electrical systems.
This position requires strong technical expertise combined with proven leadership experience in managing maintenance teams within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the maintenance team to deliver operational excellence.
- Plan and execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
- Drive improvements in equipment reliability, efficiency (OEE), and safety.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate maintenance-related procurement.
- Support continuous improvement projects (TPM, 5S) and apply RCA for problem-solving.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Monitor and plan facility related maintenance activities
Qualifications and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering.
- 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience, 5+ years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, automation.
- Experience in Predictive Maintenance, TPM, and reliability improvement.
- Good command of English and ability to interpret technical documents.
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Communication and Integration Knowledge
- Able to interpret machine alarm logs and error messages to distinguish between mechanical, electrical, or software-related issues.
- Capable of guiding operators and maintenance teams during downtime and technical failures.
- Communicates effectively with external service teams using correct technical terminology.
