| This is a strategic and high-impact role for a senior Application Security expert who combines strong technical foundations with the ability to influence engineering teams and drive security best practices across the organisation. |
| Key Responsibilities |
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Application Security
- Lead application security assessments and penetration testing activities
- Identify vulnerabilities and work closely with development teams on remediation
- Embed security practices into SDLC and Agile environments
- Drive automation, testing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote secure coding standards across multiple engineering teams

| Ideal Background |
- Proven experience in a lead or advisory Application Security role
- Strong software development background (Java, C/C++, C#, PHP, Python or similar)
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring, ASP.NET or OSGI
|
Hands-on expertise in:
- Application security testing and automation
- Penetration testing
- Vulnerability management
- Agile development environments
