We are currently looking for an Indirect Purchasing Executive to join our client’s team in Sakarya.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Manage the strategic sourcing activities for the logistics service sub-categories within Indirect Procurement
- Ensure the procurement of logistics operations, warehousing services, and related value-added logistics services in line with required quality, cost, and service standards
- Lead end-to-end tender processes and continuously develop alternative suppliers at both local and global level
- Create and implement category strategies, procurement policies, and processes to improve operational and financial performance
- Contribute to cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and logistics flow optimization initiatives
- Visit suppliers, warehouses, and operational sites to understand processes, monitor service quality, develop alternatives, and ensure continuity of supply
- Manage new supplier onboarding processes, monitor service entries, and ensure invoice and payment alignment with agreed commercial terms
- Ensure that internal stakeholders submit accurate and timely purchase requests in line with procurement governance
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure service continuity and performance alignment
- Provide routine procurement support and interact effectively with stakeholders across different levels of the organization
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement or logistics sector
- Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation
- Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and follow-up skills
- Good command of English and proficiency in MS Office applications
- Preferably knowledge of SAP
- Able to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Solution-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Valid driving license, active driving experience, and no travel restrictions
- Based in Sakarya or willing to relocate
