We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join a global leader in the premium consumer goods industry.

Your primary mission is to build and sustain the automation capabilities required to ensure infrastructure consistency, security enforcement, and operational efficiency across a complex cloud and hybrid environment.
Job Description - Cloud Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Your Responsibilities

  • Automation Platform Engineering: Design, build, and maintain the shared infrastructure automation platform, developing reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) building blocks (Terraform / Bicep) aligned with global standards.
  • Deployment Pipelines: Implement and maintain high-performance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, integrating validation, security, and compliance checks directly into the workflows.
  • System Integration & Tooling: Connect automation capabilities with enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, CMDB, tagging, monitoring, and identity services to ensure platform consistency.
  • Reliability & Support: Actively troubleshoot failed runs and broken modules while refactoring fragile components to improve the long-term supportability and resilience of the platform.
  • Vendor Alignment & Consistency: Support the adoption of shared automation patterns across global vendor teams and challenge non-standard implementations that create operational complexity.
  • Engineering Standards: Define and maintain the automation engineering practices for the chapter, focusing on GitOps approaches, version-controlled infrastructure, and documented usage standards.

Your Profile

  • Experienced Engineer: You have 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, or platform engineering roles, with a proven track record of building reusable automation in enterprise environments.
  • Software Development Background: You bring an extensive background in software development, allowing you to build reliable and maintainable platform solutions rather than one-off scripts.
  • Cloud Specialist: You possess strong expertise in Azure platform services. While Azure is the primary focus, senior-level experience in AWS or GCP is highly valued if you have the ability to adapt quickly to a new environment.
  • Technical Tooling Expert: You have expert-level skills in Terraform and are proficient in scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Platform Thinker: You understand that the goal is not just to automate tasks, but to create shared capabilities that can be consumed by many teams across a complex, multi-geography enterprise.
  • Language & Communication: You are fluent in English and Spanish, which is mandatory for this global role.
