Service Manager


For our client, one of the leading providers of intralogistics solutions, ISG is recruiting a Service Manager to lead and further develop the national Service organization. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced professional who combines strong operational expertise with commercial acumen and a passion for building high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the Service strategy in line with the company's business objectives.
  • Lead the national Service organization, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business growth.
  • Take full ownership of the Service P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability.
  • Optimize service operations, resource allocation, technician productivity, and service quality across the organization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, supporting the growth of after-sales services and long-term partnerships.
  • Lead, coach, and develop managers and teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive Lean, Operational Excellence, and digital transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and business performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment standards while promoting a strong safety culture

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another technical discipline; postgraduate studies or an MBA are considered an advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in technical service, after-sales, or operations, including at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and leading organizational development.
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Experience within intralogistics, industrial equipment, machinery, automotive, construction, agriculture, or other service-intensive industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced English language proficiency.
  • Willingness to travel nationally.
