Are you a Data Engineer passionate about real-time data, streaming technologies and cloud platforms?

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join an innovative international technology company operating at the intersection of space, telecommunications and next-generation connectivity.

In this role, you will help build and operate a modern data platform handling both high-volume operational data and business data, turning complex datasets into reliable, governed and accessible information for teams across the organization.

What will you do?

  • Build and deploy real-time streaming and data ingestion pipelines using Apache Flink and Kafka.
  • Design and maintain scalable AWS data platforms using S3, Iceberg, Glue, Athena and Redshift.
  • Develop SQL and Python transformations, data models and batch workflows with Airflow/dbt.
  • Ensure data quality, governance and schema management across operational and business datasets, working with CDC, Protobuf and Schema Registry.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects and business stakeholders to build reliable data foundations for analytics and AI/ML use cases.

What are we looking for?

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
  • Hands-on production experience with Apache Flink or a comparable stream-processing technology.
  • Strong experience with Kafka and streaming data pipelines, ideally including CDC.
  • Good knowledge of AWS, particularly S3, Glue, Athena and/or Redshift.
  • Experience with Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills.
  • Experience with Airflow and ideally dbt.
  • Knowledge of Protobuf, Schema Registry and schema evolution.
  • Understanding of data quality, governance and access control.
  • English B2+ and comfortable working in an international environment.
